Tseason is equipped with Italian OMS high-pressure foaming machines and PUMA fully automated continuous production lines, ensuring uniform density in the core material of PIR sandwich panels (density variation ≤5%).

Tseason provide polyurethane core material formulated with an advanced recipe featuring a high closed-cell content (>95%), ensuring product consistency and an extremely low thermal conductivity of ≤0.022 W/(m·K). We provide fire-resistant PIR sandwich panels certified to GB8624 Class B1 and EN 14509 standards.

Tseason designed an online pre-coating glue spraythat uses a reciprocating micro atomization system to apply Polyurethane adhesive uniformly to the panel's inside surface prior to the panel being preheated. This creates a stronger bond between the polyurethane foam and the panel by creating a reinforced coating of the adhesives to prevent uneven adhesion to the surface of the panel and to improve bond strength.

Tseason offer steel sheets coated with PVDF or high-weatherability polyester (HDP), guaranteeing an exceptionally long corrosion and weather resistance lifespan of 15–20 years. High-precision CNC cutting at our factory maintains dimensional tolerances within ±1 mm.

The outer metal skin protects against rain, Ultraviolet radiation, and wind loads. The inner metal skin improves the aesthetic appeal of the interior and provides a moisture barrier. Common materials for the outer metal skins are hot dipped galvanised colour-coated steel sheets (PPGI), aluminium-zinc colour-coated steel sheets (PPGL), and high corrosion resistant stainless steel sheets (SUS304/316) for use in food and pharmaceutical applications.

The type of surface coating will depend on the environment in which it will be used. For instance, standard polyester (PE) is typically used in general environments, high weatherability polyester (HDP) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) should be used in areas that get intense UV exposure or high salt fog in coastal areas, and food grade coatings (e.g. laminated PET) would be utilized in clean rooms for food processing.

Difference between PIR and PUR materials Core

Rigid polyurethane foam is the core material and is created using fluorine-free blowing agents (like pentane). There are two grades of the foam: PUR and PIR.

About PUR

PUR (polyurethane) is a rigid polymer foam material produced by the reaction of polyols and isocyanates. It is widely used in building envelopes and refrigeration applications due to its excellent thermal insulation properties.
The typical density of PUR core material is approximately 40–42 kg/m³, with a thermal conductivity of ≥0.024 W/(m·K) and a closed-cell rate generally ranging from 85% to 90%.
Although it provides good thermal insulation, PUR core material has a fire resistance rating of Class B2 (Chinese Standard GB8624), and its maximum operating temperature is approximately 100°C. Due to the relatively low cost of its raw materials, PUR is well-suited for general insulation projects that are budget-sensitive and do not have extreme requirements for fire resistance or high-temperature resistance. Currently, the entire Tseason product line uses PIR core material.

About PIR
About PIR

PIR (polyisocyanurate) is an upgraded version of PUR. By adding isocyanate during the manufacturing process and introducing a cyclic structure, it becomes cross-linked polyisocyanurate, which enhances structural stability from within the molecule. This structure enhances PIR’s overall performance: it features a higher core density (approximately 48–50 kg/m³), a lower thermal conductivity of ≤0.022 W/(m·K), and superior thermal insulation and waterproofing properties. In terms of fire resistance and temperature resistance, PIR meets Class B1 standards (GB8624), exhibits high thermal stability, and can operate in environments up to 160°C.
